how i can help you

Emphasizing a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, my main goal is to create a warm and compassionate environment that supports your growth. My therapeutic approach integrates several modalities, including art therapy, narrative therapy, neuroeducation, and parts work. Using the creative process to promote emotional expression and insight is a central part of my work. I have a passion for empowering individuals living with chronic illness and the LGBTQIA+ community.

When you work with me, you enter into a collaborative partnership. I take the time to learn your strengths, interests, needs, worldview, and important aspects of your identity and culture. I strongly believe you are the expert of your own experiences, which have given you the wisdom to navigate the present and the future. I am committed to being a lifelong learner of anti-oppressive and culturally-responsive practice. Together, we create a plan that will uniquely support you in meeting the goals you have for yourself.

You can expect to learn creative and sensory-based techniques to promote grounding. As we build a trusting therapeutic relationship, we will go deeper at the pace that works best for you. I believe that growth involves welcoming uncomfortable experiences and emotions. I am honored to create a space where we can witness and approach the harder parts of life together with curiosity and compassion. All of your parts and experiences deserve to be heard without judgment.
