Back to School Stress-Busting

Our back-to-school stress-busting workshop is a supportive and creative space for your rising 5th or 6th grader to increase their confidence and develop strategies for middle school transition success. Using paper and mixed-media collage, participants will create a “Crash Course in Stress-Busting” zine to record strategies and tools and express and share ideas that are important to them. The workshop will focus on coping skills, mindfulness, art-making, and sharing experiences through creative self-expression.

This support-based workshop will be held in-person on Sundays, August 16th & 23rd from 10:30-12:00 PM. If you have questions about whether the workshop is the right fit for your child, you are welcome to reach out to the group facilitator, Heather Stemas.
