how i can help you
My approach to therapy is eclectic and creative with an emphasis on person-centered therapy. I incorporate techniques from trauma-informed practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness as well as other therapeutic approaches. I will do my best to meet your unique therapeutic goals.
I strongly believe successful therapy relies on a high quality relationship between the client and therapist. My initial goal is to build a trusting and supportive connection with my clients. We will work together to explore your unique narrative and how your stories carry with you through your life.
My favorite part of being a therapist is to witness the client’s process whether it be art-making or talk therapy. I value process over product, simply meaning that being present in the moment is the work, not the finished art product or “homework”. I enjoy helping others reach their goals and I love to use art as a way to explore, learn and heal. I look forward to working with you!
